I was just wondering if anyone had a spare powerpoint about the Heritage Softail.. That includes History, Newer models, & specifications on all the Heritages. If anyone has one, all I can say is thank you.

So this is for a school project and you just want someone to give you the answers w/o actually researchign it yourself?
First of all, as a teacher, I must say your teacher must be cool to let you do such a project; so why would you not want to do the actual work yourself or have chosen a different subject matter?
All the info is out there, just RESEARCH further before asking for the answers up front! Big difference between a rider who needs answers now to fix a problem or a reassuring decision on which model to go with opposed to a kid who wants a free A.
Maybe I have misread your few past posts, but the above is my impression.
Sorry kid, not trying to bring you down just wish you would do soem research on your own first, 'cause I'm sure its part of yoru grade.
BE COOL...STAY IN SKEWL!

Oh, yeah! I have one right here.........NO!!!
Hey! I have an idea!
Why don't you do your own work. Asking simple questions is fine, but now you're asking for a powerpoint presentation?
All you have to do is go to the Harley website. It will give you all the specs on all current models. If you need more there's the library or even Barnes and Nobles or Borders. Go to one of these places and start reading.
This stuff is not hard to find.

I have one. I gave a presentation on the Heritage Softail to all the bikers at the Buckhorn saloon this past weekend. Har har har. Don't take it personally, I'm just yankin' your chain.
Hindsight's 20/20 but if it were me, I'd have chosen the V-rod. There's a lot more data available and there was a distinct reason HD created the bike. The Heritage Softail is just another Softail. The V-rod was radically different.

As a mother I would be appalled if I found out my son was on a forum asking for answers to his project. As it has been said, there is ample information on the internet, libraries, book stores, etc. Do your homework. For all you know we may not be giving you the correct answers anyway. You need to do the research to be sure you are turning in accurate information. I think that anyone who gives this kid any more information would be doing him an injustice. Just my opinion...

Pacman, don't take it too hard pal! Just check into it more. Thing is, Heather hit the nail on the head in one aspect, anything and everything can be false info. Not sure what sources/how many you need, but a forum is not the first place to check, maybe come here close to the end and maybe "double check" yoru info, if that makes sense.
Geezer, that is great advice, I would have never thought about it that way, we need teachers like that! You're right, if he is looking for those types of why's pertaining to a model, that would be perfect. Just hope he doesn't get into the whole Fatboy origin to slam Jap bikes! Yikes! As a teacher I would have cringe, but laugh my rear off inside:>
I am only guessing here, but Pacman seems like he is sorta on the right track, least it's Harleys and not "Why Rap music is so much better than R&R!"
Seriously, good luck on the project man!

Well, I have the project done. Yay! I was just seeing what some people would say to this. But thanks for all of the encouragement from everyone. It's cool how teachers own Harley's. I would've never guessed that. Not that I'm against teachers having Harley's. It's just something that bogs my brain a little bit. Thanks again for the encouagement.
