I guess with some things, you never really hear too many people raving about the quality of a product, but anyone who has a bad experience, they make sure everyone knows. Makes it hard for the rest of us.

KLF33 what good small lightweight battery's have you found?

 

I run what's known as a "dry cell" type in my car for the last seven years. These are great and powerful batteries, but are still the same size as OEM
My next battery for my Slim will be one of these light weight types

Well been getting lots of **** done on it lately, though pictures wise it doesn't look any different, just more bare then before. Had to machine out a section in the exile primary drive shaft bearing housing as their primary's don't allow to be super low. With air. The belt hits when really low and that wasn't such a problem, just end up with the ribs smoothed off, but the chain going on won't sound so nice hitting the case. So I sectioned out a slot in the case. Plus lots of other boring stuff.

Tons of parts have been turning up almost daily it seams. Among my favourite, turned up this morning is the new front brakes. PM 6 piston caliper on a Lyndalls racing brakes ceramic composite 13" floating rotor. I'm blown away how light this rotor is, it's nuts. The rotor and caliper combined feels at least half the weight of the old 11.5 with factory 4 pot caliper.

Oh did I mention, got the guy doing the manifold and headwork to shave the heads to bump the comp from 10.5:1 to 11:1. That with the big cams in her, she's gunna be an angry pig of a thing haha

 

That open primary looks stupid. You should send it here for me to properly dispose of it....

We have a solid 12 months of riding here, that my bike probably only sees 3 months of when the wheels are on lol
