Default Question about Python exhaust

Going to check out a 2009 Heritage with stage 1 that has staggered Python exhaust. How loud are they compared to stock - want to keep what little hearing I have left? Any other opinions on these as to quality, sound or performance?

I have Pythons on my Dyna. They're pretty loud but I like the sound of them though.

I think Pythons have the best sound of any of the mufflers out there. I don't think they are the loudest, but they have a nice deep rumble.

I've had the Python Staggered Duals on both my 06 and 09 Dyna. They are loud so I put the quiet baffles in them. Still loud but not hateful.

Relatively tame at idle and steady speed cruising, but the hounds of hell when you get on it. Best damn pipes I've ever heard.

Yeah....I have them on the FXSTS.....nobody has ever described them as mild. But I do like the sound and there are many other louder pipes, just not a lot louder.

Python exhaust is made for Drag Specialties by Vance and Hines. They are made to be a bit louder than the comparable V&H pipes. You get V&H qulaity for a little less money...
