Default Question regarding Softail models

Of the Softail models, have any of these bikes actually been "lowered" OR is it just the difference in the seats on each model that gives them different seat heights? In particular the Softail Slim....has this bike been factory lowered or is it the same height as the Heritage but with a lower seat.

The softail slim, softail deluxe, and the softail fatboy lo all come "slammed" from the factory meaning they all have lesser lean angle and suspension travel than other softails like the standard FatBoy and the heritage.

Which is one of the reasons I went with a Heritage.

I have had no problems with the 1" lower shocks after I finally got them adjusted correctly for my weight.

Slammed Softails look great, but I scrape enough as it is on corners.
