Hi all,
Long time follower first time question asker........
I ask for forgiveness in advance if this is not the right area. I have done the searches on here and have seen some stuff that some people need to quit their jobs and work for themselves. People on here are amazing and brilliant.
Here is my bike.......
Here is my issue. I thought this was a Fatboy front end and ordered a used memphis shade batwing from a Fatboy to install. When I tried to install it the mounting lugs were too close together. I need a set of brackets that would have a center to center distance of 6 and 3/4 to properly mount the batwing fairing. I just drilled holes bolted it to the current bolt pattern. It works great but I think it is not sitting at the proper angle or height and I cannot put one of those windshield bags or a radio in there. Just wanna make it right.
I called MS and they said because of legal reasons they cannot help and only give advice on what they have tried.
I would do a custom setup but not as handy as some of you guys on here. I would pay someone to help me with a nice trigger lock setup.
Its obvious you have no WWW tires. I think you will always have dust but some brands are better than the other. My best advice is to keep your rims Waxed and waxed real good. In doing so you just have to spray the dust right off the the rims.

Thanks for the advice on the rims....any advice for the fairing?
Again a great wax job. I only use a brand called zymol. Also, when you park it just wipe it off then and there while it still warm or hot from the sun and what i use for that is Mothers detailing solutions. I hate bugs on mine, but there is no getting out of that one!!!
