Mounted up the swingarm bag I had made for me by Bad&G customs. I had it made in steer hide, an inch deeper, and with 1.5” straps. I’m impressed with the work for sure. I ordered a “bobber braket” to mount it, but was wholey unimpressed with that. The only thing I ended up using out of that was some of the spacers and some of the hardware. Total waste of money for my application... Anywhoo, I won’t blather on about how I made it, I’ll just show you the pics. It’s 1/8” aluminum plate that I wrinkle black painted to finish it off after sanding out the edges nice and smooth.
Nicely done.....I love Greg's bags. I used to have one on my old Dyna. I've been thinking about mounting that same bag on both sides of my bike.....instead of mounting from the swing arm he will make it to mount from the fender struts. Kind of like mini saddlebags.
