Watched a bud's bike shoot right out from under him using a suicide clutch with the shift lever right on the output shaft, and that was on an old panhead, probably less than half the hp of a 124. Probably a good idea keeping both hands on the bars with over 100 hp. If you didn't get compression releases, I'd guess the next thing you'll be getting is a high output starter... My S&S 96 makes me happy, 124 must be awesome. So far, my carb hasn't been a problem, like carbs best anyway, since I have experience with them; never had an efi bike.

I never had a problem with the Jockey . I bought it and left it in the garage for nearly 18 month because the thought of it scared me..... turns out I was over thinking it ..
i'm going with the carb because i want old school , and I particularly like the low tickover and the sound !
