Default Speedometer LED upgrade

Has anyone upgraded their speedometers to an LED bulb? There is a company ZEESCUSTOMSINC that you can send your speedometer to and have them do it.
I however like to attempt things myself. I have a 2003 Night Train.
They don't sell a kit but I would like to find the bulbs and try it. I could not find anyone selling kits through google, but I probably missed it.
If anyone has done it I'd love to hear about it!

I did it. (Had it done).
Joe at Powder Pro did my 2008 Night Train with blue leds in the speedometer, and odometer. It is cool, for sure!
Funny you mention this. I was looking at the bike last night, and telling Ms. Teddy, of all the things I changed, the led switch is probably going to be my biggest bang for the buck.
I have a thread going on mine. I think is is called "Jack's winter build in the dirty bear garage".
Joe also did my ignition switch in black, and the speedo console, all at the same time.
He does good work.

Thanks for the reply. YA I am mainly looking for someone that has done it so they can more or less explain to me how to do it or where to get the bulbs.
I haven't read your thread yet but am headed there now.

I want to say they are tiny square leds. I also like doing my own work, but when I pulled mine off and turned it over, I decided what joe charges would be worth it, to dodge the risk of soldering into the board.
Others have done it, but the price was good, and the responsability is on him.
Again, I have to say, all blue illumination looks cool as heck! The camera just cannot get it.
Which ever way you do it, it is a slick mod!
Good luck

Here's a thread from several years ago by spydyr. It's probably the best you'll find on changing speedo LEDs.

Thanks for the kudos Bone Doc.

I've done 4 now, and still no issues with any, including my first back in 2010. I did 2 reds, then my wife wanted a pink needle and blue backlight, then when she traded in she wanted all blue. The needle, backlight, and odometer can all be different colors if you want.

Let me know if you have any questions, Nosnum. It's not that bad for an avid do-it-yourselfer.
