Decel popping

I have pretty bad decel pop on one of my bikes (the one with the shortest and least baffled pipes). It doesn't bother me, it's not an indication of any kind of problem, and it helps the texting car drivers know I'm there.
Sure, it could be tuned out by screwing up the decel mixture to the point that it won't ignite, but I think I'll hang on to it as a safety feature.

At T bone Tony... I'm curious if 'n maybe your friend's bike running a 2-1 pipe as I do.
Not really sure why, but the majority of the time when I hear anything close to what mine sounds with the 2-1 from Rush, is when it's a big twin motor running a 2-1 pipe kit. Then the sound on decel is like a big disel. You know? BRAAAAP BRAAAP BRAAP BRAP BRAH
That to me is NOT like a ping or a decel pop... There is a difference. And though I'm not 100% sure why, they do it when set up as I stated above.
