'07 Heritage security system...
I have the H-D Smart Security System on my new bike. I also had the dealer install the Smart Siren II and the Pager Receiver II.
Now, the dealer is 100 miles away so I will ask here first.
Unless I turn on the pager before letting the security system arm, it won't recieve the Range Confirmation Signal from the bike. And, even then, after about 30 minutes - 1 hour, it will no longer receive the signal.
So, if this is the way it is supposed to work, then the pager receiver is basically useless.
Does anyone here have this system and/or know how it is supposed to work?
