Default softail standard

Is there a reasonable way to paint?anodize a softail standard motor to get a nightrain look?

I would think that you could use high temp satin black, on the rocker boxes and other parts,you could use black wrinkle finish paint. You would have to scotchbrite the boxes prime then wrinkle finish. To get the wrinkle paint to wrinkle, it needs heat. Maybe a heat gun, most people use an oven to do this, but the boxes would have to be dis-assembled from the motor. I'm not a fan of all the black, I'm like a crow, I like shiny things !!!!

I see a lot of wrinkle black engine parts cheap on ebay. I think a lot of guys buy chrome and sell the take-offs on ebay. Search ebay for wrinkle black harley to find black parts.

I bought some take-offs on ebay, as well as powdercoating some of my stock parts to get that blacked out look (the oil tank has been replaced with wrinkle black since these pictures were taken):
