I have the right tools, not my first rodeo, problem is one in my rear strut, to tight an thread lock to boot wouldn't let it come loose! Was tuff getting the saddlebag bolts out an when I did they were coated in Locktite!
Sounds like your problem is the overuse of loctite and not the torx bolts....
Then after that, NEVER use Loctite in derby cover fasteners. I put anti-sieze on mine and torque them to the lowest setting because of the reduced friction.

Worse yet!! The rear frame member of the TriGlide has two T40 Torx Tamper Proof bolts that have to be removed to install a trailer hitch. They don't even do anything other than hold a nut plate in place, that is used for mounting the trailer hitch. WTF...why security tamper proof bolts? What are they trying to protect? Do you know how many hardware stores, auto stores, and home improvement stores I had to go to to get the tool to remove these?? I found one at the 2nd Lowes I visited.
