Simple Oil Question

Just picked up a 2006 Deluxe and I am sure the previous owner said he used Syn3 in all three holes. I just checked the owners manual and I can't find any where it saying you can use synthetic. Is synthetic OK, or do I have to use HD Dino oil?

You can use either synthetic or dino.

Syn is just fine... Now run fast for asking a Oil question cuz the hounds are on the way.. If you search the forum there is 1,000,000,000,000+ threads on oil

With a Deluxe you must use "Deluxe oil" because you have a "Deluxe" engine! 'At's right!

I and you can run syn in all 3 holes. Everyone has an opinion on the best oil. I use Amsoil 20/50 in the engine and primary and 75/90 in my tranny. If I had to pick a 2nd place oil it would be Mobil 1.
