Default Heritage Springer Help

I have a couple immediate mods I'd like to do and need a little help obtaining the parts. I've searched the forum classifieds, ebay, and J&P but could not find the following:

1. Front turn signal relocation kit (to bottom of passing lamps)

2. Rear turn signal and license plate relocation kit (under the tail light)

3. Passenger half-moon floor boards

I also want to replace the A/C and exhaust with true dual fish tails.

1. Samson vs. Vance & Hines true dual fish tails?

2. What is a recommended A/C for this carbureted model?

3. Jetting kit or new carburetor?

Thank you in advance and any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Nice looking Bike you have.
I cant answer your questions for most things your asking, but the exhaust could have more choices than the ones you mentiond, Freedom Performance, and Paughco to name a few. The A/C depends on your taste. The Goodson, or Paughco A/Cs are the old look that I like. If your bike runs well on the original carb, why replace it? If exhaust mods, and a change in A/C require some jet work, just do that.

The exhaust systems you mentioned are more like baffled straight pipes. If you like the look of a real muffler, then you might want to look at what Paughco offers. I think they have 28 and 30 inch long mufflers with fish tails.

I really like the muffler you currently have. If you go duals give me a shout and I may be interested in purchasing your exsisting exhaust.

Try a Thunder Slide kit for your carb... Worked well on my '02 heritage after a 95 upgrade with cams.

Nice bike. I have the same one in red. My HD local dealer recommended the Sampson conversion pipes to eliminate the extra pipe from the rear cylinder crossover to the left side.

The stock CV carb is fine. Don't waste money on kits just buy the couple jets you may need and replace the needle if you want.
Plenty of how to's on how to mod that carb on line.

Redbeard as usual has great info.

Allen you need heritage springer rear footboard mounts, they are specific because they have a tapped hole for the left exhaust mount (which you might not need with your Samson duals). I think you could adapt a hanger easily enough and buy a cheaper set of softail rear footboards.

I posted a set available on Craigslist on the HSOA forum...was that your thread?
