They must have different setups - I had a Switchback with a quick-detach that came stock on it and those springs wrapped behind the bolts.
Just like the windshield used in the video on the ShieldShackles page...

Same here, I thought it just locked over the bracket shown and not all the way to the bolt.

The spring is also in backwards. It should come outside the bracket like the pics I posted.

Exactly. Yours has the correct bolt for the upper clamp, your spring is in right too. This is the way it goes.

has to be that all bikes are not the same.. On our 07 Heritage the springs are inside of the brackets and go over the bolts..

My deluxe's is like sleekos pics. Might be a deluxe thing.

Agreed. The Deluxe uses the unique Nostalgia windshield which has the U shaped central wrap around brace. This may make a difference compared to the standard braced model used on the Heritage for example.

I agree with Sleeko, regarding mine on a 2010 Deluxe... Sleeko, Might be time for a Batwing... Would look sharp on your scoot! Best mod I have done!
