Default Air cleaner question?

Found a spiked air cleaner I liked, well I thought I did.
First issue, I have long legs with forwards. The dam thing sticks out so far It gets me against the knees.
Second thing is the head breather, It's not part of the package so I had to get a bypass kit.
How did you guys deal with the knee problem?

Same issue on my deuce. I have a big sucker 2. I made a brake pedal pad extension. It will stick out an extra inch. I made it to match the swiss cheese pegs. Its on the way to plating, otherwise I would show it installed

I had one on my 02 Softail when I bought it second hand. I ran it a few years but started seeing a bunch of them around so I swapped it our for the lesser seen (by me anyways) S&S Teardrop. I did notice my right leg was off center a bit even when I put 3" forward control extensions.

Thanks, I've removed it for now. As I didn't have the bypass kit installed, stupid me (And the bike kept stalling). Lucky I didn't blow a head gasket.
The kits on order, but I'm not sure if it's going to be uncomfortable on the right knee and another bad purchase.
