Finally going to pull the trigger tomorow on Black 17' inch Carlini Evil apes. plus a Burly cable and wiring kit. Never thought i'd be paying that kind of cash for bars. But my wife convinced me to do it. She said why bother buying something esle just because it cost's a little less and looks a little different, you won't be happy. She's right.
You want to trade wife's? Mine can't cook or clean. She just tells me I spend to much on bike parts. Ha-ha.
mine cooks and cleans and works and lets me ride my bike and her whenever i want, lol. she tells me to spend, but in the right ways and not like a drunken sailor, she's the best!

If you're putting them on yourself, your total outlay should be about ¼ of what you'd spend to have somebody do it for you. Think I spent about $300 total for my bars, cables and wire extensions. Dealer wanted $1,500 for bars+labor. DIY bar installs can be a pain, but they're probably one of the biggest money saving DIY installs you can do.
Carlini bars are one of the more expensive brands, but a drop in the bucket compared to the labor for having them installed...
Great choice!!! can't go wrong with Carlini, love mine..
love yours too

i actually have a friend i ride with all the time that owns a shop. he charges me half price on labor charges, plus i help so it does'nt take so long. its more like renting the tools and space. last time i was there it was a 6 hour job that cost me 150 bucks...if i could find a set of bars that had that same forward convex like the Carlini Evil's, i'd go with them. Was gonna do it today but got cause up in other stuff, will go on monday
