I had a 2014 Sportster which I fitted with a Super Tuner Pro, downloaded the applicable software and saved it to my desktop.
I sold the Sportster and bought a 2015 Fatboy.
My question is, I have bought another Super Tuner Pro, do I need to download the software again or can I use the software I used for the Sportster?

 

You should be able to use the old software as long as the old & new Super Tuner Pro is the same model and revision number.

 

Lets see,, is a Sporty engine any diff from a 103 TC.... Ahhh --yep...

Then would the same tune job would work for Both engines...-- Ahhh-- Nope..

 

My question was; is the software the same, not the map!

 

As long as the physical device hasn't changed - think old one next to new one being exactly the same - then you can use the same software.
