I am considering the Daymaker LED Headlight kit from Harley for my 2008 Heritage.
If I get one, I will get the Reflector model, rather than the projector, because I have been told it is better for back roads.
Price is $399.95.
Any experience with this light - - also, I would probably replace the passing lamps at the same time.
Wondering if there are others that are as good for less money.
Thanks,
Balloo
Truck-lite is the same as the reflector type. JW Speaker Evo 2 is the same as the projector type.
Check Ebay and Amazon.
I just bought the Truck-lite off Ebay for $150. It matches the reflector LED driving lights. It will stick out a bit, but nothing my French trim ring won't hide.
i wish that HD, Trucklite, or JW will come up with a (7" and 4.5") LED reflector type headlights similar to the new Road Glides. That center light thing really stands out in day light and i bet its better at night. Looks plus functionality!
the 7" reflector LED headlight that HD sells has the center chromed but doesnt illuminate

Thoughts on the light output? I have the Truck-Lite and I'm not too fond of it at night.
