I installed a set of the newer Heritage bars, a 1.5" riser, a
new poly bushings, and a set of nostalgic grips on the deluxe today.
The bars are a much nicer feel than the stock bars, and look cooler to boot.
I thought it was a pretty cheap, as simple upgrade. Onto the front rim next!!!
I didn't have to change anything, but the brake line is almost maxed out. I am going to swap it,
for one that is 6" longer just to be safe. The camaro was my first money pit!!!!

Just switched mine over yesterday. It went well but I find the wiring that comes out of the clutch / left side switch housing to be very tight now just barely long enough. Brake line seems fine. I am thinking I may have to buy a longer wired switch set for that side. Did you find yours very tight after the bar switch?
That's weird, all of my wires were good, but the brake line is a little tight when I turn the wheel hard left. How do you like the bars so far?
These bars give me the exact riding position I have been looking for for a while now plus I think they look much nicer than stock Deluxe bars. Thanks for posting your pics it gave me the inspiration to change them.
I added a couple of pics let me know what you think.
I agree 100%, I am really happy with the way they feel. Nice job on swapping
them out, I though it was super easy, and well worth it. The bars look great
on your bike!

Thanks yeah it was an easy install except maybe having 3 hands would have helped putting the switch housings back on.

Like the 69 Camaro too and wondering what year the Vette is under the cover.
Thanks for the compliment! Agree Eldeluxo's Camaro sure looks terrific, the cover is on a 66 rag top Vette. Been with us 30 years now.
BTW your green Heritage is a real headturner. I'll bet she gets tons of attention!
