so here's my plan, I'm going to run 2 separate threads, one will be used for before I do a mod, the other for after it. Basically one (this one) will be for me humming and hawing over my options of what I want to do, and the other will be a rather nice clean, minimal discussion build thread, that just kinda documents my build. This second one will also contain most of my pics
so the meat and potatoes:
2015 Harley Softail Breakout Radioactive Green.
Ok, so, this is thread number 2, this one here is planned on being my build thread, only things I'm going to be posting about really are the mods that I have done, i'm not going to really discuss things that i'm thinking about doing or such, that will all take place in this thread. Feel free to comment on stuff in this thread, but any real conversation I would prefer in that other thread.
This post, I will keep an update of mods done, and possibly a list of mods to come, aswell as the 2 pics of my bike in stock form, and the most current version of my bike below that. (visual mods only)
SO, here we go, bought the bike Tuesday March 8th, 2016, picked it up the next day (in the GOD DAMN RAIN!)
It's a 2015 Harley Davidson Softail Breakout in Radioactive Green.
the bike had 7151km (IIRC, I'll check the records and confirm eventually) when I bought it. It was an ex-demo model, and was bone stock, with a few nicks and scrapes in/on it.
the day I signed on the dotted line:
and that weekend, at an event for BACA, in the bloody rain again! (I had put about 275km on the bike, before I actually got to ride it on a nice day!
mods that have been completed:
Vance & Hines FP3 tuner
Vance & Hines Big Radius 2-2 black
next mod:
suspension upgrade
so far it's be been 6 weeks, and we are up to 8500km
current pic:
nice start! IMO you really should consider one general build thread. it's much better that way especially for others participating.
And the mere existence of this thread will not keep people from posting in the other thread. To the contrary it will invite people to do exactly that
and why are the threads "unnamed"? Has it something to do with Harry Potter, or Voldemort respectively....oh sh**...I should have said "him who shall not be named"
