What is the difference between barebacks vs. bubba's quick detach saddlebag mounts? They look basically the same on their web sites. I think both would work with my Springer bags.
Also - Do barebacks or bubba's require some sort of extra support strut on the side or bottom of the bag?
BTW - No interest in ghost or easy brackets, I don't think they would work with my bags.
Can't help ya but suggest that you call bubbas and bareback directly. I've got the bubbas system on my Heritage and can't speak highly enough of them and the customer service.

What does Bubba's system include? Is it just quick release studs that screw into the fender mount holes or is there some sort of additional brace that connects near the passenger footpegs?
Bubba's web site sux, no pictures of the quick release hardware. J&P has good pics of the BareBacks.
I have the barebacks and they work well and look good. But If I was to do it over I would probably go with Bubba's mounts. From what Iv'e seen you get a much cleaner look with the bags off then you do with the barebacks.

I've got the quick release system for the bags and the sissy bar. My heritage bags came with the bracket already on them that connects down behind the passenger pegs and this kit comes with a quick detatch screw and wing nut for that connection. Bubbas has a system that includes that bracket for a set of bags if you need it. Here are some pics that I took of the system I have.
