Default yup. its a 1998

they were released in europe only in 98. i couldnt figure out why i couldnt find parts for a 98 until my brother started questioning the low miles. i ran a carfax report and saw that it came to the US in 2000 and went through customs and was then approved for use on US highways. see attachment

When we lowered my buddies fat boy last week we put on the adjustable rear extensions then got the rear to look right with the fender. Then did some measuring to get the backbone to be at the stock angle. Used progressives kit with cuttable spacers up front. Were within 1/4 inch the first time. No idea on the 5 degree bearing rake though. 2 rear and 2.75 get I think total drop

I have a 21 up front and 18 in back. I dropped my rear end 1 inch and it looks perfect to me.

Don't fool yourself, 1972 was the debut year for the "Night Train"

I stand corrected Matt. Thanks. One more year of them is even better. G.

As long as there are old guys around here, you'll have to occasionally put up with us reminding you what the original was
