hey guys, I have a 2016 Breakout with stock handlebars. I'm looking to replace them with something slightly higher and just a tad more pull back. I want to retain the dragster look so nothing too high or too much pull back.
has anyone done this? if so, what bars did you choose and did you have to mod anything to make it work with the stock wiring, controls, cables, etc? also, can you post pics?
I was thinking about getting these but it's hard to order something without seeing it up close.
There's a thread here about adding a piece to the riser, where it raises the bars up but not so much that it effects the cables and such. I'm sure someone will post a link.
Nostradamus swapped the stock risers for custom made ones which are appr. 1 in. longer on the base....check with him. I guess appr. 1.5 to 2 in. higher is the max you could go with stock cables and lines....
