Default HELP! Need Wiring Diagram 2001 Heritage FLSTCI

Hi guys, I am in need of a pic of the wiring diagram for a 2001 Heritage Softail EFI. I needed to change out the fuse blocks which went well. All works fine except I can now start the bike in ACC. I must have flip flopped a couple of wires. I have found some pics on line but I cannot zoom in well enough to read them. What I specifically need is a pic of the top of the fuse blocks which shows locations/wire colors and the legend that shows what the codes translate into wire colors. Thanks much!

I can't help with the wiring diagram but I'll be the first to mention that a service manual would have the diagram you are needing. Do you have a service manual for your '01 Softail?

Hopefully someone will chime in with the information you need. Another option would be to stop in at a dealer. They may be able to get you the picture you need. Good luck.

If the bike starts in ACC mode, then remove the tank console and flip the connector for the ignition switch around.

I do not have a service manual. I'm happy you brought that up as I will get one as long as it will have the wiring diagram in it. I did some digging on the internet and see there are lot's of different manuals out there so I was bit confused which one to get. Thanks

Thanks Bone Doc and Next in Line, you were both right. I went to the local dealer who was really cool about letting me take some pics of the wiring diagram out of the service manual. I checked all the wiring in the fuse blocks to the wiring diagram, all was good. I then checked the wiring to the switch on the console, and noticed they did not match the diagram. For whatever reason, not sure if it was like this from the factory or not, I needed to flip the wires between the I and A. After that, seems to work like it should. Quite a mystery, but I sure learned a lot.

There are 4 manuals in total from Harley Davidson:

Owner's manual - comes with a new bike, can be downloaded for free.
Service manual - what everybody suggests you get.
Parts manual - another must have because it shows the exploded view.
Electric diagnostic manual - when troubleshooting electrical gremlins.

Clymer and Haynes also make manuals but those are going to get you into more trouble than they are worth.
