Hey. New to the forum and HD ownership. I picked up an anniversary deuce and it has been running fine. Went to work the other day no issues and when I went to leave the bike wouldn't start. Just turned over. Checked the fuses, and checked the spark at the plugs. No spark so I replaced the coil, plugs, and wires. Still no spark at the plugs. Anyone got any suggestions before I take it to a dealer? Thanks
I just went through nearly the exact thing. Mine would crank in the mornings and not fire. After beating my head against the wall telling myself it couldn't possibly be the battery.....it was the battery.
I'm not saying this is your problem, but if battery voltage DURING CRANKING falls below a certain threshold.....no fire to the plugs.
Take the battery out and have it load tested. At the very least, its an easy way to confirm or eliminate that possibility
Usually, the plugs won't fire on a FI fuel injection unless you leave them in and ground other plugs clipped on to the head. Harley senses the resistance of the compression. Be sure to use correct Harley plugs. They are a little resistance difference in so called substitutions. Is the fuel pump running the two second timer run when you key on?

Add a signature line to your profile on year and full model letters of your bike for the future. It wont crank or prime with 'kill switch' off. 2003 has push button FOB, so it's not that. Does it have a aftermarket tuner?
