Default Probably a stupid question...

Just picked up some tins from a 2011 Fat Boy (tank and both fenders). Don't really need them, but they have a great custom paint job and were ridiculously cheap.

Soooo, the question is, will any of these fit my '05 Deluxe? Are there any conversion kits that will help fitment? Or should I just resell them?

Default O5 Deluxe tin swap

Front fender will bolt right on.

Fuel tank may work if both bikes are Fuel injected although there have been some changes through the years, some on this forum have made it work.

Rear fender would bolt right on IF it was the same width, late model Fatboy have a wider rear fender, wide rear tire. So if you bought the wide rear struts which would bolt right on, you would have a narrow rear tire. The Fatboy tail light is different as well.

Wiring plugs may not match there have been some changes, but all plugs are available if you don't want to cut your harness.

There are no "conversion kits" that I know of.

Here is a link to a parts finder, you could compare parts from different years:

Good Luck, let us know what you end up doing.

Steve

Deluxe tins look much better than Fatboy tins in my humble opinion. Sell them and make some bucks

We the rear tins will look retarded because they're for a 200 tire and I believe you have a 180 on your deluxe. And I need a Fatboy rear fender for my Crossbones if you'd like to make me a good deal

The rear fender is for a frame with a 200 tire, your bike has a 140 tire and is too narrow to put the Fat Boy rear fender on. The front fender will fit and you could make the fuel tank fit most likely but the rear fender is the deal breaker...
