1992 Fatboy Ignition Switch Question
For all of you running an Evo Softail (specifically a Fatboy) or for those that know. Buddy of mine has a 1992 Fatboy. When he switches from ignition to lights, on the ignition switch, the bike stumbles (almost stalls) then runs fine again. This happens when switching from ignition to lights or lights to ignition. It's almost as if someone shut the electrical off for a millisecond.
Is this normal?

It is normal, because there is a loss of electrical connection when the switch is moved from one position to the other.
There is no reason to be switching from ignition to lights.
The bike originally came with the ignition switch configured to keep the headlight always on, some old school guys don`t like that, but modern batteries are more than able to crank the engine with the headlight on.
There is no reason to be switching from ignition to lights.
