Hello everyone, I miss you all so much! And I miss my Softail Deluxe even more...
Just wanted to say these are the two I gave up my bike to take care of. Mom is in the final stages of Alzheimer's and is forgetting how to swallow. Dad is devastated at the thought of losing her.
I hired a private ambulance to bring mom home for her last Christmas so she could be with us, see the tree, and feel the love and peace. It won't be long now.
Dad now has terminal prostate cancer. I had him move in with me to take care of him. Love the two of them so much.
Dad wants me to ride again when it's all over, and I promised him I would.
Happy New Year 2017 to you all my brothers and sisters!

Hey Peg!
Happy New Year!
God Bless you for your devotion to your parents! Sadly this is missing in most people today. Your sacrifice will be repaid in ways you can never imagine.
I never doubted that you would ride again some day.
Godspeed on your journey.
Hope to see you back in the saddle soon.
Greg
Hello Peg! I was thinking about you a few weeks ago and was wondering how you, and your parents, were doing... No doubt your love and care for them is felt every day. Prayers...
Peg, I have followed your pink Road King for awhile. Noticed less of you on the forum as of late. I understand why. My wife and I will pray for you and your folks. I hope to see you back one day.
It takes a very special person to give up something so important to them in order to care for your parents. All parents should have such a devoted child. Your parents are beautiful. I knew your mom had Alzheimers. I'm very sorry to hear of your dad's health challenges as well. I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers.
Sorry to hear bout your parents, it's always tuff in the end no matter what. You are a rare breed in a world going down and I'm sure your dad appreciates your devotion. Good luck and get back on two as soon as you can.
