Default Triangular Brace - Softtail

There is a brace between the top of the transmission and the frame under the front of the seat that doesn't appear on the microfiche. Anyone know if it's essential? Looks like an engine mount/brace.

Nope. About a foot long, 3/4 inch wide.

That's a bit different from mine.

The coil mount is on the other side of mine.

It's just a brace that goes from the top of the engine to the upper frame.

Yes, it's called the "seat post". My guess, since MOCO put it there, its more than likely essential for some reason.
