Question 5" Risers on '10 FXSTC

Hi guys,

I've changed my stock risers to new Harley ones 5" tall with a pullback of 2".

I'm experiencing vibrations on the handlebar when turning at low speed.

No bearing problems and no wheel misalignment.

Could the risers be the cause of my "problem"?

Thank you all in advance!

Hello Doc. When you put the risers on, did you check the bushings? Harley makes a heavy duty bushing that works quite well. I think they're ceramic. It looks like your brake and throttle cables are pretty tight. You might consider putting longer ones on.

Hi Reelman,

I've already changed the cables. It's an "old" photo!
Are you suggesting me to change the bushings?
Tonite, I've tried tightening the risers and I succeeded in turning them a little bit.
Tomorrow, I'll test them again and update this post.

Thank you a lot!
