Hi,
I am trying to remove the console to replace the ignition switch. I have removed the Chrome nut and washer from the stud screw. I was told it should lift up and off. It doesn't! Feels like something else is holding the console down preventing it from coming up. Am I missing something here? Any help would be appreciated.

Yes. The trip reset ****. It unscrews with a tiny Phillips

 

Thanks! It was the rubber gasket around the speedometer that was holding it.
