Default Leatherpro Saddlebags

I just wanted to show off my new bags. They are from www.leatherpros.com . They are well made, lined with plastic for support and are detachable. I thought I might need to use supports for them but after receiving them I can see that I won't need them. You can lock them to the bike and lock the lid. Hopefully the pics load okay.

Hope this helps.

Looks great. Can you post some photos with the bags off?

I didn't take any with the new hardware in place. I'll go out and take some to post.

The lid locks with three small d-rings. One is located on the lid and there are two rings on the front of the bag. They interlock and you can put a small padlock in there to lock them.Leatherprosincluded two locks with the bags which I used to lock the bags to the bike. They have some d-rings on the inside too and you can lock the handles on the inside to one of the rings.

They seem really well made to me. I'll have to see how they do once I start putting stuff in them. Right now I just have to remember to swing my foot over a little wider so that I don't kick them when I park.

These bags very nice. I have a pairI recently bought for my Deluxe and they look great. The workmanship and leather is top notch. They go on and come off within seconds and they are easily twice the size of the HD stock bags.

Best purchase I made for the bike thus far.

Vertigo, I don't know for sure if it's true but I remember people saying that the owners of Boss Bags and Leatherpros are related. I know that they are in the same town (if you look on the websites)and that the bags have similar looks. However they have different detachable mounting systems. I don't know if the Boss bags rattle or not, but I can't see the Leatherpro bags rattling considering that you actually tighten them down against the "buttons" that they mount on. I'm going to take some better pics of the mounting system and post them. I like the fact that I didn't have to relocate the turn signals and that even with taking my time mounting them it only took me about 30 minutes start to finish.

I love those bags. Can't wait to get a set for my Night Train. I will need to relocate the turn signals, but that's no big deal. Anyway, glad to hear the positive feedback on 'em. Makes the decision that much easier.
