it looked like thise when i got my 1991 Softail





liked it a lot but not quit the way i wanted it

so first a new LOUDER exhaust




radical radius freedom performance

a new mikuni carb and a home made aircleaner







first start up with the new mods



with the new exhaust the pegs where to short so up to the lathe to make some new ones



so i was happy for a few months


the i had the idea that the 200 rear wasn't big enuff it looked a little to fat to me i wanted a more rim and les tire so the 18" was the new project




i had a large swingarm kit already installed on the bike yet so first testfitting




my pulley was way to wide so i trimmed it down to make it fit for a 20 mm belt



i now the tire is the wrong way (the wheel is sec hand from a right side belt drive bike)


some more fab was needed to make some spacers to fit the break disk

max to the swingarm




next fender i got was not wide enuff so lets get another fender

after some (a lot) of cutting fitting and welding













so now it need paint so why not change the tank also







the old style black handlebar controlles where upgraded to a post 96 chrome version and a home made side licenceplate holder where the "nearly " last modiffications forthe winterstop







so some new kellermann rear light i slammed on the freshly painted tins


so finaly ready to ride again
