New Easy Start HD Calibration for 110 Motors
Just got a letter from HD stating that they will soon be offering a free easy start calibration to improve starting on 110 motors.
However, the letter also states that the new easy start calibration will wipe out any existing Screaming Eagle tune.
If this is the case, would it wipe out my screaming eagle race tuner calibration? If so, I am never having it done. My bike (2016 Fatboy S) starts every time I push the button. This might be a sneaky way for HD to deal with their EPA fines/situation.

Yes at present, if you install this new calibration it will remove your Screaming Eagle tune.
I believe new tuner calibrations will become available later this summer but currently the only mention is of Street Tuner updates.
No confirmation of SEPST calibrations being updated is stated although I think it possible that they will be changed also as the update does not influence performance but rather the ACR deployment, and although you have this ongoing issue with EPA in the domestic market the SEPST is available elsewhere worldwide were the hot start issue is as much of a problem for some owners.
It is only aimed at those that have had difficult starting issues, particularly when hot, which quite a few owners have had both on tuned and standard bikes and as such if you've not suffered this you'd be right in not going with it.
