Default Backrest

Recently purchased a 2007 softail deluxe with signature series 2-up seat. Unfortunately, the rider backrest was not included. Where can a person find the rider backrest only for the signature series seat?

Would a Grasshopper work? Or Utopia? Unless you want OEM.

Thank you for the reply. Dealership does not and Harley appears to not sale backrest separately. The universal backrest will not lock in place which causes them to move side to side.

Not lock in place? How do they stay on then? I am looking for a rider back rest solution as well for my '11 Fat Boy Lo as well.

Well that's interesting because the backrest has It's own part numbers. You might be dealing with a retard behind the counter.

Part numbers at the bottom.

If worse comes to comes to worse, you could order all the parts for the slider then stick it on the back of whatever you want to.

You are correct. There is a part number but when attempting to order that part, was told it could not be ordered separately from the signature seat. Will try another dealership parts department.
