There is a hole plug in the left fork back panel. Harley instructions say to mount the switch there.

That's where it's found on the Heritage.

Put lights on mine a few months ago. I installed the switch where the instructions say to on the left side back of the fork cover. There is a rubber plug which simply pops out for the switch. Sorry no pic of the switch. I can take one if you need me to? I did use the HD wiring harness kit
https://www.harley-davidson.com/stor...11-69200442--1
which allows the auxiliary lights to remain on with high beams and simplifies the wiring with plug and play. The plug is already sitting next to the needed location under the left side of the tank. I went with the CD halo true beams and HD black trim rings.

Hey Freak show, didn't check the year of your bike before posting so not sure if yours is equipped with the plug already. I have no problem working with wires, but hate to cut them on a bike as new as mine. So when I can buy an extra adapter to simplify things, I am all for it. Your gonna love the extra light. Plus I think they look good on the Lo.

They look great on the Lo.

Your front end pretty much looks the same as mine. I have the wind-splitter windshield too. If you get the fork wind deflectors and have them powder coated, those will look good too and you'll appreciate the massive reduction in buffeting. Something about that windshield makes the fangs flow with the rest.

TeaRunner, I have thought about the wind deflectors, but am waiting for them to come out in black. I do have a list of parts adding up for powder coat though, so maybe I'll pick up a set and have it done. I also want to have my windshield brackets done, though I do like polished stainless as apposed to chrome plating. Am pondering reckless fairings as well, but not sure if I will like it. I rode a bunch of fairing bike at a recent demo day (M8)and just didn't have as much fun on any of them. Guess I like the wind for now.
