some of you might know I've made a few iterations of a rider backrest for my breakout that works with the stock seat. Finally got to putting in the work to make something serious that I intend to sell at some point. Just got ten powdercoated and waiting on foam to get the pad formed and stitched up. Here's some shots of what I came up with. It won't work with the passenger pillion and after a few cuts I found to make that happen it's pushing you too far forward. Lmk what you all think.

I think it looks great and is a great idea. I have a friend who rides a BO and she would probably benefit from something like that. I will let her know about it.
DAM GOOD IDEA...................I have a breakout and thought of the same thing. Either the seat having more of a curve up in the back to grab your *** , so you don't side off back of bike. The next thought is what your doing , some kind of back rest to hold you in place. Your first prototype looks very good. I think your on your way to making some big bucks too because the breakout is huge in Europe. Please keep going with this......
