Default Project started

Started doing all the things I've been collecting for months now. New 103 cylinders and pistons .030 head gaskets, a set of 2015 deluxe heads with like 12 miles on them. 204 cams and 1.72 rockers, and new control cables. I also took the time to internally wire the bars, what a PITA!! anyway that's done.

All done up and running, it's a big difference in power and sound, I like it a lot.

I've been looking at doing 204's also, heard a lot of good things about them. Is the mid range power noticeable?

Keep in mind I've only had two quick rides and guessing the tune as this combo is not listed in the maps, it runs NICE. I get the feeling of being uncorked compared with the stock 96. It revs much quicker and the mid range pulls like a freight train, oh and the idle sounds awesome.

The addition of the ACRs make it start really easy too.

I obviously didn't need the Screaming Eagle cam door and high flow oil pump, I just wanted them.

looks an sounds good. I may look into a cam since I already put a tuner on for an exhaust upgrade. I think I want one that comes on around 1800 or so.

1800 RPM you'd probably be better suited to the SE255, it just runs out of gas around 4500 the 204 comes on around 2500 and runs up to 5500 RPM. The 255 is best suited to the baggers where low speed torque is needed.
