Now that is a bit more palatable. So figure in $1k to rip that fugly headlight off it and another $1k in handlebars you can reach.
I kind of like this one best out of the new models. Agree with you on the headlight.
I don't care for the exhaust, but who really keeps their exhaust stock?
I don't like that it comes with the smaller tank. Being that it shares the same frame as the other bikes I think it would be easy enough to throw a 5 gallon on from a different model.
Ive been wanting a Fat Bob for years now and after last year's release of the M8 I knew it would be coming to the Dynas and Softails soon. Wasn't expecting all these changes though. The new headlight is growing on me. Love the new rear fender. I absolutely HATE the gold colored pipes. Anyone know if that can be swapped out with black or chrome pipes? I'm gonna pull the trigger reguardless.
They're just heat shields. Strip them and rattle them with some Rustoleum high temp paint and you're good to go. Probablyy don't even have to bother stripping them.

No accounting for taste I suppose, so when you (or anyone else) rips off that 'oh so terrible' headlight, please let me know as I'd be interested in buying it to use on a different bike. I think it's a great looking headlight.
$1k for handlebars? Really. Even from H-D themselves the reduced reach bars are only $300.
I think this new Fat Bob is one of the outstanding new models and looks great. Maybe not for the traditionalist H-D rider, but I doubt that is who they're aiming at with this model.
