Default Vibration in front wheel

I have a 2012 Fatboy with only 5K miles. I noticed today a hum/grind/vibration in my front fork when I lean to one side (I think to the right). I noticed it going about 30MPH weaving to avoid some sewer caps in the road.
Has anyone else experienced this? Sounds/feels like it could be a bearing issue in the front wheel...

2012, 5K?

I'm guessing rust and dust buildup.

Thanks TeaRunner!
Possibly but the bike is super clean...I was wondering if anyone had experienced something like this when leaning from side to side...and what was the fix??

I was thinking wheel bearing. Lift the front tire off the ground an turn it by hand.

Several forum guys have reported finding a bad bearing when theirs acted like that; if you have a way to lift the front wheel, turn it by hand and listen and feel for roughness.

I felt that in my 13 fatboy also. No play in the front wheel bearing and spins smoothly off the ground. Probably is the wheels bearing but I'm not going to worry about it till start to feel it going in a straight line. You can pick up some noise with side loads with sealed wheel bearings.

Plenty of tread left, but DOT says 5 years is expiration date of a tire. So check the bearing when you change the tire.

I have the same issue on 2015 RGS. I thought it was bearing but that has been checked by dealer and ok. Have put new tyre on and still there. Living with it as mechanic at dealer said he has noticed it on new 2017 models but can't isolate problem. Not much help are they!!

I thought wheel bearing also, but then I wondered about tire cupping. You say it only happens when you lean to the right. I wonder.....
