I have a 2012 Heritage Classic. i love the stock saddle but need a quality driver backrest. I am having no real luck finding this without purchasing a new saddle. Any help would be appreciated.
The grasshopper is a great choice and reasonably priced. Check their eBay store before you buy one, sometimes they sell them cheaper on eBay. I have been satisfied with my grasshopper on my heritage. I got it to hold me over until I could afford a new seat, but have pushed the new seat back for awhile and bought other things because the grasshopper has been pretty great
I have a Mustang seat with a riders backrest and a wider passenger seat on my 2015 Heritage Classic. Made a world of difference in comfort. I have 3 herniated disk in my lower back. The backrest is excellent and comes right off if I need to remove it. The stock seat sucked in my opinion.

A mustang seat is what I'm saving for. Which one is that? Looks comfortable, and that passenger seat looks like something the gf would appreciate too
If you are going to purchase a new seat with backrest then give Ultimate Seats a look. I hear nothing but excellent reviews. It doesn't sit you up like the mustang.
For the backrest only I got mine from Utopia Baackrest. They make an excellent product that is adjustable and built to last.
Bought it from JP Cycles. Its the Mustang sport solo and passenger seat with Drivers backrest. The passenger seat is the 11" wide recessed seat. Can be purchased with or without studs.
