Default 07 FXSTC Electrical Problem

I have a 2007 FXSTC, while riding the other day it Popped (missed) and the speedo went to zero a couple times (electrical),, then it died completely.. roadside work:

Checked the battery leads both ends of both cables (all tight)
Checked all fuses (Good)
Looked for obvious loose wires (nothing)
Had someone stop with jumper cables, attached the cables, let it sit for a minute then tried to start it, it acted like a dead battery, started to turn over then dead.. Almost like the starter was drawing too many amps..
Trailer it back home, put my trickle charger on it, 2 hrs later battery full..
Battery is 6 month old.

After work today, i'm going to meter the stator (make sure it's not grounded out), See what voltage the battery has before and after i try to start it, And check for any other loose or bad wires..

Is there anything that jumps out at anyone that I might have missed?

13000 Miles on it, Was riding most of the day about 50 Miles (Poker Run)..

You'll know much more after a multimeter session and a battery load test man.
Don't think it's the battery though but hoo knows. I think somethings died by the sound of it.
Do any idiot lights come up with the ignition turned on ?

I had the same thing happen to me a few years ago on the way home from Sturgis. Turned out to be a bad battery. Good luck with your diagnostics.

I would bet my left leg on a dodgy ignition switch. Mine had the same symptoms and just did the old wiggle test on the switch when it's running and see if you can make it cut out. Good luck!

Ok.. Think i have multiple problems..

Battery on trickle charger for 2 days, 11 volts.
Turn ign. on, drops to 7 volts.
No lights on dash (idiot lights)

next, will hook up trickle charger to just battery (disconnect from bike).
we'll see if I can get at least 12 volts on Battery..
Couldn't get to stator wires last night, will try again tonight,,

thinking about ign. switch and/or starter..

Thanks for the inputs...

Sounds like your battery is toast. I'm wondering if your voltage regulator fried it as this happend to mine
Last year.

I have had plates come loose in a battery...everything would be fine...then you hit a bump and zero power...lights would go out...then it would go back to normal...I would have the battery thoroughly checked out before I started chasing problems that might not exist
