I test rode one before choosing the Heritage. It felt great and looked great. I liked the angles created by the lowered suspension. In person the new turn signals weren't that bad. They looked more Art Deco than modern. I could have lived with them. Bike was that silver and boot beer two tone. Very classy combo. The 107 is a nice motor too. Overall sexier than the Heritage, but in the end Thd Heritage was a better fit for me. I wanted the bags, shield, cruise, 114, and increased lean angle. I had an '05 Deluxe for 35,000 miles and it was a beautiful bike, but I didn't need to do it again.
Thanks for the review.I too would buy the Heritage but I am old school and cant make myself like the blacked out stuff.Been trying to get a Fatboy 114 but no luck so I am probably try to get a deluxe.

The Deluxe looks great with the chrome. I wish the Heritage had more chrome. I'm not big in to all the black stuff.
I currently have blacked out (Dyna) and chrome (FXR...had a Road King, Sportster 72, and my old Deluxe). I wasn't looking for blacked out, but the gloss black accents on the Heritage are somewhere between chrome and the usual textured matte black cases on the "dark custom" finishes. It's prettt dressy in a way and really strikes a vintage look I didn't expect. Worth seeing in person to judge imo.

I few tweaks here and there and you can get a nice chrome look. I have already added a chrome air filter cover, chrome spoiler, and plan to add chrome derby cover and chrome battery cover.

I saw your AC pic. Any more pics of your adds? Sounds good.

Lol. Well you did your homework. Sounds like the Deluxe or Fat Boy for you. Pull the shield and bags off the Heritage and all that separates the Deluxe is the bar/riser, taller suspension, and chrome. It all makes a difference of course, but you'd have a Deluxe underneath with a few mods.
I was so close to getting the Deluxe. I think the white wall tires changed my mind, was not crazy about them. I knew i'd be getting a new seat for passenger and would have ordered larger saddle bags... would have been close to the Heritage in the end. I just installed the Tallboy seat yesterday. Big comfort improvement at 6' tall.
