18 Heritage Aux light wiring rubbing
Thought I'd share in case it might save anyone some electrical headaches.
I had an aux light come loose the other day while I was riding, not sure how far I rode with it pointing at the ditch looking like I'd run into something. Took the lense out to tighten things back up and found the wire was rubbed through the first layer of insulation. The connecting plugs for the LED lights are pretty big and fill up the space behind the lense. Took it by the dealer and they installed little wire protectors.
I have less than 2k on my bike and both sides where rubbed through the paint in the back of the cup and the outer insulation.
