Can someone tell me why LED turn signals won’t work on a 2014 Softail with the running light/brake light adapter installed? I have had them on my 06 Heritage and 05 FXST and they worked great. When I bought the pigtail, the parts guy said it wouldn’t work with LEDs and damned if he wasn’t right. Is there anything I can do to somehow make them work?
You probably need a load equalizer, should be a place to plug one into your running light/brake light adapter. My run/brake/blinker adapter has a plug and came with the load equalizer to plug in if I ever go with LEDs.

You will need to unplug the run/turn/brake adaptor and pluG the load equalizer between it and the wiring harness going to the front of the bike. Just did this to mine.
That’s what the dealer told me when we bought the bike. I was also told that LEDs wouldn’t work with the stop/run/turn pigtail on that bike but I can’t figure out why it doesn’t work and that’s everything as if it isn’t getting power. Like I said in my op, they worked fine on my 05 and 06 Softails.
+1...load equalizer not required on the '14 model.
The HD r/s/t adapter needs omitted, you'll lose the stop feature on the signals. If you want the r/s/t feature you'll have to purchase a smart triple play adapter for leds. Custom Dynamics makes one and HD usually has one in stock. I ran leds front and rear with the triple play on my '14
