I’m trying to decide upon new wheels and tires for my 16 soft tail slim. But having trouble commiting to anything. Can’t decide on a design, A size front or back. I have nothing. My husband is threatening to move out till I decide on something. Please help, Help me, my marriage and most of all my poor bike.
Out of those two I like the top better. I wouldn’t like solid chrome. Not sure if I would rather the spokes being chrome or black. On the top pic I like the size of the back but not sure on the front.
I like some of those. Really I’m hoping for some pictures of different wheels or Softail to give me a better idea. Im
not good at imagining what it will look like on.
Here’s two different style wheels on a Fatboy - similar style to a Slim. 1st pic shows forged chrome wheels 18” front and back. 2nd pic is Breakout wheels 18 back/21 front. I almost did this size in some King Spokes with black rim with chrome spokes. Decided against them because if a spoke breaks, it’s a pain to find someone who will respoke or true a wheel. I am really liking the 21” front wheel. Good luck.

Get real crazy and tell him you want to keep the same wheels but remove all the spokes to powder coat the hubs brass, then put it back together. Well, then of course you will need new brass exhausts and accents. I personally love this look.
Having used Ridewright fat 50's with steel spokes, I wouldn't personally do it again.
Love the look but unless you are prepared to regularly clean and polish them, you'll get surface rust and pitted corrosion. At the end it was too much maintenance!
