Breakout regear problem
I had to replace my belt on my 2017 Breakout after It picked up a rock, so as long as we were in there lets do the regear. 30t and 70t pulleys used, I also have a 260 Metzeler tire that cleared everything just fine before, but now with the stock 132 tooth belt, the tire rubs the lower plastic fender/shield so bad that it had to be removed. I will readjust after the belt stretches a bit and customize something to fit in there, but right now the tire is probably 3/8 to 1/2 inch away from another plastic shield that protects the security system. I think on the earlier years that lower fender mounted on the front side of the tabs on the swingarm, but as they are now packing more electronics on these bikes, it was moved to the back of the tabs, closer to the tire. Anyone else run into this problem?
