Hey guys. I recently bought an 08 crossbones. I love the bike right now, but I could think of some things I would like to change. The bars are mini apes, and I'm thinking of changing them. I think I'd like to change the seat from the springer style to a regular, possibly newer seat. And changing the headlight from the 5 3/4 in to 7 in. Looking for suggestions, advice, tips, and tricks learned.
Crossbones are cool. I like the smaller headlight with springers, just swap it out for a black quality LED projector. I like LEDs all around.
La Pera Silhouette seat is what I'm looking at for my Softail.
I love the Crossbones/Slim dash, best Harley has ever put out, I'll put one on my Lo if I can ever find one. Smoothing out the center of your tank and losing the leather looks clean.

My thoughts for what they're worth.
I have the day maker headlight in now. But I have found that if you have a 7 in housing for your headlight, you can instal a jeep led headlight which will put any day maker to shame apparently. I do like the idea of getting a black led day maker though. If I can't make the transition, then I'll probably go for that.
Your bike looks a lot like mine when I got it but it now looks a little different. PM if you want any details
how do you like those hangers? I'm contemplating doing something like that, but then again, I may not have to if I switch the seat out. And I dig the all black on yours man. I'm fighting with myself to do that or not, but I am going to throw some "brass" pieces on mine.
