Default When momma happy....

Well momma a happy camper now. Got her off of a V-Star onto an 05. Nice little bike with a lot of extras. Stock minus pipes, air, tunner and bars. I am sure I will have some questions over time but for now just some seat time. So if you all see her on the road tell her great bike. (softens her up to let me spend more on mine cuz I was already told there is no limit we can spend on hers......lol)

but one question I do have is do they make or is there an easy way to wire driving lights to stay on with high beam? (I have a kurtakyn harness on my ultra to do this but didn't know if they have one for a softail line).

HD does make a harness for this purpose for Softails.

You can directly modify the wiring to allow the auxiliary lights to remain on with the brights.

Congrats on the new ride .. If the heat bothers her on her thigh give us a holler as we sell a lot of our crotch coolers to Softail owners . The oil dipstick and location of the hot oil tank usually are an issue for the rider .. Thank you Itch .

She really likes it and the more I look at it the more I like it too. Paint really sets it off. She also got three seats with it. Stock, saddle man, and a seat off a CVO. Also got the stock pipes, sissy bar and a painted fairing to match with inner set up for a radio. Plus stock bars and lines. Brand new tires and tubes...guy thru in the paint in case of touch up and even tossed in stuff for an oil change on it. Nice guy that almost tripped over his own feet watching it leave the yard. I don't think he really wanted to sell it but he said last year he only put 495 miles on it and less then that the year before. He knows it is in good hands but I could tell he still didn't want to part with it. On top of all that got it for $2000 less then any other one in our area and those had nothing extra with them.

Sounds like a really great deal. Always great to be able "adopt" a wel loved bike! For sure the previous owner is already regretting his decision.

That black and white paint scheme is great looking too.

Many happy miles in your wife's future!

Good for her. She seems to be happy with a nice looking bike. Are you asking about the aux lamps on bright or the regular front headlight always on bright? If aux., follow Docs example or buy the kit(wire assembly) from HD.
